Lately I haven't felt quite right... I have had a really hard time falling asleep, and when I finally do usually end up waking up several times during the night. Hopefully I can return to my normal feeling self quickly, but until then I guess faking it will have to do.
School has been hectic. I feel like I am spending exuberant amounts of time just trying to comprehend my Programming Languages class, and seem to be getting no-where. Even with talking to the professor during every one of his office hours, I am still only doing marginally better on the homework. Certainly not enough of an improvement to guarantee that I pass the class which only adds to the frustration.
After spending yet another 6 hours getting no-where on the homework today, I decided to take a break and do something relaxing that I actually enjoy. And so, I started going through my photo's from the past two times of going to Como. I have found that I really enjoy the challenge of photographing animals there. It's all a bunch of luck and patience, and when you finally get that perfect shot it's a huge adrenaline rush. I have really taken to photographing the Snow Leopards, as they seem to be rather active when I am at the Zoo. I was lucky enough to capture one in mid-growl, and it has definitely become my favorite animal picture, if not my favorite picture overall. I am hoping to continue to improve with my photography skills so that I can reliably take nice shots. The only animal that I want but currently don't have a nice shot for at the Zoo (Besides the bears which are currently not present) are the Wolves. The chain-link fence is proving to be problematic to shoot through... But I will get a nice shot of them yet!
